Back from San Antonio after hanging out with Zach Rockford & celebrating Adam Defelice’s wedding! Just finished up coaching athletes at the University of Portland, Nike’s Out of Office Run Club this morning, and sitting in the best spot at Cathedral Coffee.

Here are some ideas that I can’t stop thinking about…

Pressure… Not 100% sure why or where it is coming from, besides, I know I am putting pressure on myself to be better than last year. Specifically, make 2025 better than 2024, and to have “it” figured out more than I did last year. THOSE ARE TWO BIG ROCKS & HEAVY HITTERS. Not sure if you have ever felt like that… if so, hit me up, I am curious.

2024 was one of the most incredible years of my life. Historic. Need to realize I need to make 2025 great in its own right, not make it competitive against something that I can choose to be grateful for. I don’t know how athletes do it. Have an insane season, then always competing to do that over again? I am not getting another free trip to Croatia and Greece with the Portland Pilots Women’s Basketball crew + everything else that was elite (that list would be longggg)

Having it figured out is another topic I have talked about a lot. The key is not to put pressure on myself. It is to use that ENERGY towards taking action. Like writing this newsletter, hitting up people to learn from them, and then doubling down on more directed action.

Ever feel that “what am I doing with my life?” feeling while also loving where you are at right now? Think that is the jiu jitsu match I am having with my mind. Not stressing about the right path, but at the same time building something incredible, impactful, and what I would be proud of.

NEED TO DO… like actually write out as specifically as possible my perfect day, perfect week, and then work backwards how to do that. (Shout out to Mike Rich via Ghost Business Newsletter). Build that vision and work back. Vivid specific ideas of what I want my life to look like.
