A lot of highs and “learning opportunities” packed into March…

This is sick… CHAMPS! Women’s basketball won back-to-back championships (3 in the past 5 years) by beating Gonzaga AGAIN in the WCC Championship game. We started playing our best basketball in March, bounced back after a tough few weeks in February, and punched our ticket to March Madness.

Podcast guests in person… Mike Rich and I got to hang out with Stetson in Las Vegas I also got to hang out with Mike Nilson in Spokane and get dinner with the legend Tommy Musto in LA.

BIG MOVES Homeowner… Purchased, locked down, and moved into my first property. It has been an experience. Something I could revisit later as a topic to write about but for now Chillingsworth Street is in business!

If you’re in your head, you’re dead… Get out of your head, stop thinking, stop ruminating, stop telling yourself stories that aren’t true, and stop trying to think your way out of an overthinking problem. Write, run, and connect.

Action is the antidote and some solid walks & talks with people put you in a better state of mind. Sometimes there isn’t an answer… that’s okay… accept… let go… be the best you and keep STACKING MUTHA F*CKING DAYS. Love life.

THE MISSION

Eugene Marathon… big things here. This has been the North Star these past few months as we have a group of 10 signed up and ready to run! Training with my buddies leading up to this race has been one of my favorite things in 2024. WE READY! A lot of UP alumni from soccer and baseball are ready to roll!

One of my favorite things in my entire life is training and planning experiences with the people that mean the most. CONNECTION + EXPERIENCES.

The Bryant Ferate Podcast… Wasn’t the best month for podcasts. Honestly, didn’t do the best with cold outreach, lining up guests, and getting conversations recorded. A new month and a new opportunity. This was personally frustrating but in the grand scheme of things there is time and things go in seasons.

Writing… March was a month of comparison games. I spent too much energy comparing myself to what I did in February. February I popped off with +20 articles written. The lesson learned was to create a system for doing the thing, capturing ideas, and getting them written. I know I know I know… The only thing that is doing the thing is doing the thing. The mission is going all in and dominating the Write of Passage course led by David Perell.

Keep killin it, stacking those Daily Deposits, and making every day the best day of the year until tomorrow…
