Doing a little catch-up after the holidays, so there's less time between emails. Updates, travels, projects…

Ask your parents about the time you spent with them…

  1. Hey, mom, what was your favorite part today?

  2. Hey, pops, what was your favorite part of the whole trip?

  3. Then ask, “Wait, what did we do this day?” and replay the entire time you were home because it is easy to forget the little stuff.

  4. It forces them to re-live the great moments and put together all the details out loud.

Bluebird Baker… first time hitting up Mt. Baker in the North Cascades, and it was a perfect bluebird powder day. Insanity. Reminded me of Switzerland. It was incredible to really soak in that it was my first time being there.

Mt. Shuksan & my favorite Arc’teryx kit.

Big Ass Calendar… locked and loaded.

  1. On the wall and adding commitments.

  2. Races, experiences, and travel are the big 3 that go on first.

  3. Favorite thing to do is after the week, write what I memorable things I did.

Okay, seriously, do you think this big ass calendar, one year defining moment, and planning out what you want is a good idea? LINK.

What do you want…? I am fascinated by people who so clearly know what they want. Not a goal or a materialistic want, but a “want to want”. They individually, deep down to their core, know how they want to live X kind of life. I get in my head a lot about enjoying the now (current wants) and discovering more of my true wants (future/building towards).

Running in 2025… I am grateful for how much running has brought people into my life. It has been such a connection point. Marathons, Out of Office Run Club, running with all the homies, ultra trail races, etc. Cup is full!
